１年生理科の実験
6月27日(木)１年生の理科で、「白い粉末の見分け方」の実験を行いました。
粉末Ａ・Ｂ・Ｃ・Ｄについて、①粒の様子や手ざわり、②水を入れてよくふり混ぜたときのとける様子、③弱火で熱したときの様子を観察しました。
そして、実験の結果から、粉末Ａ・Ｂ・Ｃ・Ｄが、白砂糖，デンプン，食塩，グラニュー糖のどれかを判断し、その根拠も考えていきました。

On Thursday, June 27^th, the 7^th graders had an experiment about how to identify white powder.

The students observed powders A, B, C, and D in terms of 1) the appearance and texture of the particles, 2) how they dissolved when added to water and shaken well, and 3) how they behaved when heated over low heat.

Based on the results of the experiment, they determined whether powders A, B, C, and D were white sugar, starch, salt, or granulated sugar, and considered the reasons for their identification.

６月19日(水)に今年度初めての生徒総会をマルチメディア教室で行いました。生徒会が主体となって今年度の生徒会重点目標とスローガンについての話し合いが進められました。

まず、前もって生徒会から出されていた「挨拶」「個性」「品格」「活気」というキーワードを使って各学年で話し合いが持たれ、各学年毎に選出したスローガンが発表されました。その後、学年を越えた小グループに別れて意見を出し合い、その意見を集約して次のようなスローガンが発表されました。

「挨拶が飛び交い活気がある文徳中、個性を認め品格を高め合う文徳生」

スローガンのような文徳中・文徳生を目指し、生徒全員が学習・行事等に一生懸命取り組んで行くことを全校生徒で確認して生徒総会を終えました。

On Wednesday, June 19^th,

the first student assembly of the year was held in the multimedia classroom. The student council took the lead in discussing the student council’s key goals and slogan for the year.

First, each grade held a discussion using the keywords that had been set out in advance by the student council: “greetings,” “individuality,” “dignity,” and “liveliness”, and each grade announced their chosen slogan. After that, students were divided into small groups across grades to exchange opinions, and the following slogan was announced after collecting each groups’ opinions.

“Buntoku Junior High School is　a lively school with greetings being widely shared, and Buntoku students recognize each other’s individuality and will work to improve their dignity.”

The student assembly ended with all students confirming that they would work hard at their studies and events to make sure that each student and Buntoku Junior High itself reflects the slogan.

１年生理科の実験
6月19日(水)１年生の理科で、「金属と非金属のちがい」の実験を行いました。
乾電池、電子オルゴール、クリップつき導線、磁石を準備し、アルミ缶、スチール缶、ピンセット、プラスチック製定規、ガラスの試験管などを材料に、①電気を通すかを調べる、②磁石につくかを調べる、実験です。

On June 19^th, the 7^th graders did an experiment in science class to figure out the difference between metals and non-metals. For the experiment, the students prepared a battery, an electric music box, a wire with a clip, and a magnet. As well as they used aluminum cans, steel cans, tweezers, a plastic ruler, glass test tubes, etc. as materials to 1) check whether they conduct electricity and 2) whether they are attracted to a magnet.

2年生が家庭科の授業で調理実習を行いました。

手際良く調理を行い、肉じゃが、かきたま汁、もやしの胡麻和えが美味しく出来上がりました！

今年初めての調理実習でしたが、和気藹々と調理・食事をクラスメイトと楽しむことができました。

The 8^th graders had a cooking class in home economics.

The students were able to cook well and efficiently, resulting in a delicious meat and potato stew, egg drop soup, and bean sprouts with sesame dressing!

Even with it being the first cooking class of the year, the students were able to enjoy cooking and eating together with their classmates in a friendly atmosphere.
