フードパル熊本周辺にて、中体連陸上部駅伝大会が開催されました。本校からは陸上部の部員に加え、有志の生徒数名が参加しました。

駅伝大会は走行区間が６区あり、一区間３キロで構成され、フードパル周辺を一周する形でコースが組まれています。区間ごとに上り坂、下り坂と分かれているため、区間ごとの得意な選手が全力を振り絞って走り切りました。一つの襷をつないでいくことで走者はもちろんのこと応援者も一丸となって大会に参加することができました。

The Junior High School Track and Field Club Ekiden Tournament was held around Food Pal Kumamoto. The members of the track and field club as well as a few voluntary students joined the tournament from our school.

The Ekiden event consists of six sections, each of which is 3 km long, and the course is laid out in the form of a circuit around the Food Pal area. Each section is divided into uphill and downhill sections, so the best runners in each section gave it their all to complete the race. The runners and their supporters were able to participate in the event as one, by linking up the two riders with a single sash.
